This section will be updated throughout the capital campaign, so you can check back here to see what is happening. To date, our efforts have included the following:
- We surveyed people in the community and held a community input night to assess needs and interests. Current community facilities were reviewed to determine what portion of the needs could be met through them.
- We began with interviews in the community to determine if there was sufficient community support to have a successful capital campaign.
- We discovered that there was sufficient support and formed several committees to focus on various aspects of the campaign. These committees included community volunteers who have been focused on a variety of support efforts including facilities design, communications, gifts and recognition, and financial development.
- We have secured the land that will be used for the site and developed plans for construction.
